Hi, my name is Colin Goodwin - and this is my blog.
Professionally, I'm an Account Manager at a digital marketing agency called Media Mechanics, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with my primary clients being EastLink and Radian6. Some previous account work includes Empire Theatres, Irving Consumer Products, Needs Convenience, and O'Regan's Automotive Group. I interned at Lowe Roche in Toronto, Ontario, where my main account was Audi Canada.
Scholastically, I graduated from Acadia University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing).
Personally, I use this site as a collection of thoughts, creative, media, design, campaigns, branding, promotion, photos, music, ideas, art, and anything else I find relevant to my world.

what I’m doing tonight. #Halifax #livemusic (at The Company House)
not to boost too hard (especially since we just got back from another trip), but in 4 weeks @lisaonblonde and I will be in New York City for @govballnyc! never been to a music festival like this, where there’s 20+ acts I’d pay to see individually. simply put, this is going to be legendary. #govballnyc
been home a week, and thinking back on Varadero Beach, it feels like it was a dream. #myweekincuba
the “Wall of Flags” in Havana, which conveniently obscure the electronic billboard of the US special interest office (the closest thing they have to an embassy). this concluding #myweekincuba
Christ of Havana (far left) Italian marble sculpture overlooking the bay. #myweekincuba
Revolution Square in Havana. Che Guevara with his well known slogan of “Hasta la Victoria Siempre” (Until the Everlasting Victory, Always) | the José Marti Memorial 109 m tall tower and 18 m statue | the lesser-known, but another key figure of the Cuban Revolution, Camilo Cienfuegos. #myweekincuba
Old Havana trumpeter. this guy was too cool. when I took this shot he was playing The Beatles tune ‘And I Love Her’, which I actually heard multiple times from various musicians on our trip. Cubans know the best music! #myweekincuba
Cathedral of Havana, famously described as “music set in stone” by Cuban writer Alejo Carpentier. #myweekincuba
protective peacock at the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales. #myweekincuba
when Christopher Columbus discovered Cuba in 1492, he declared it “the most beautiful land ever seen by human eyes.” I haven’t done much traveling (yet), but it’s certainly the nicest place I’ve been! this is a statue of him at the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales in Old Havana. #myweekincuba
