Hi, my name is Colin Goodwin - and this is my blog.
Professionally, I'm a Project Coordinator at a digital agency in Halifax, Nova Scotia called Modern Media. I have experience as an Account Coordinator at Chester + Company, where my primary accounts were O'Regan's Automotive Group and EastLink. I interned as an Account Manager at Lowe Roche Advertising in Toronto, Ontario where my main account was Audi Canada.
Scholastically, I graduated from Acadia University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing).
Personally, I use this site as a collection of thoughts, creative, media, design, campaigns, branding, promotion, photos, music, ideas, art, and anything else I find relevant to my world.

Visually, this may be the most impressive Nike spot I’ve seen (and that’s saying a lot). Do I even need to give a shoutout to Wieden+Kennedy at this point? They kill it every time (although some find the KobeSystem commercials confusing). Check out all the newly unveiled stuff they announced today here; Flyknit just being one product.

Dig the product, not crazy on the spot. Wonder when these will be available in Canada…

Nike BetterWorld - History featuring Phil Knight

The intertwined aspect of culture and life as well as sport and lifestyle has become an important part of Nike’s philosophy of providing performance to all. Through their massive operations, (slated to hit $28b – $30b by 2015), the brand has taken it upon itself to innovate beyond just sport. As the environment becomes an increasingly contentious issue amongst the global community, Nike’s BetterWorld initiative has pushed forward to ensure that a brand of Nike’s size and stature can remain relevant and sustainable. This notion of giving back all the while addressing the pressing environmental issues is highlighted through this video narrated by Nike’s chairman and co-founder, Phil Knight.
